OUR VISION
Our goal is to help as many veterans and emergency personnel as possible throughout Iowa and surrounding states, to overcome the effects of PTSD through trained service dogs. To expand our impact, we will also provide training guidance to those military veterans and emergency personnel who already have their own dog.
OUR VALUES
We believe that the relationship between the dog and the handler is very important. From day one we will start building that foundation with the dog as well as the foundation with the Hero Handler (the military veteran/emergency Personnel). This will include having the handler learn early on and be a part of the training for the dog.
To reach more veterans/emergency personnel, we also help those diagnosed with PTSD that already have their own dog or want to purchase their own dog. Our trainer will work with the handler and their dog directly to ensure the foundations of the dog and work with the handler to help train for service work.
