Canine Miracles for Heroes exists for one reason: to help military veterans and emergency personnel reclaim life outside survival mode. Through trained service dogs, owner-trained support, and community education, we help create safer, steadier days—one team at a time.

PTSD doesn’t take a day off - neither do service dogs.
Living with PTSD can mean panic in crowded spaces, hypervigilance, disrupted sleep, and isolation. Our dogs train for exactly those moments. In recent sessions at Lowe's, Bass Pro Shops, and Scheels, they practiced staying calm in high-traffic aisles, ignoring carts and crowds, and responding to commands when everything around them was unpredictable. Those aren't tricks. They're the skills that interrupt a spiral, create space in a crowd, and give a Hero the confidence to live life again.
