Connecting with Our Community at Future Flyers and Good Egg Days

One of the best parts of our mission is getting the opportunity to meet people where they are.

This summer, Canine Miracles for Heroes had the privilege of participating in both the Future Flyers event in Winterset and Good Egg Days in Stuart. While the events were very different, they shared something in common: bringing people together to learn more about the life-changing impact of service dogs.

Future Flyers in Winterset

The Future Flyers event gave us the opportunity to connect with families, answer questions about our mission, and introduce many people to the important role service dogs play in supporting veterans and emergency personnel living with PTSD and trauma.

Throughout the day, visitors stopped by to meet our dogs, learn about the training process, and ask how they could support the organization. We enjoyed sharing the work that goes into preparing service dogs for real-life situations and explaining how community support makes that work possible.

We appreciate the organizers for inviting us to be part of such a great event and for helping us share our mission with even more people.

Good Egg Days in Stuart

We also enjoyed spending time at Good Egg Days in Stuart, where we had the chance to reconnect with familiar faces while meeting many new supporters.

Community celebrations like Good Egg Days are a wonderful reminder that our mission is strengthened by the people around us. Whether someone stopped to ask a question, shared our story with a friend, or simply spent a few minutes learning about service dogs, every conversation helped raise awareness about the work we do.

It was especially meaningful to be part of one of Stuart's signature events and to see so many people take an interest in our organization.
