Paws and Pints: The Night We Launched Partners in Hope

1 min read

On Thursday, September 3, we joined Paws and Pints and BIG Roofing for Raise The Woof: The Dog House Social in Des Moines. Canine Miracles for Heroes was the featured nonprofit, and we were glad to have a chance to talk with people about our work.

Since 2022, we’ve trained service dogs for veterans and emergency personnel across Iowa. At Paws and Pints, we shared what we do and answered questions from people who stopped by.

We also introduced Partners in Hope, our monthly giving program. Behind every service dog are months of training, care, and dedication. Monthly gifts give us steady support for training and placement, veterinary care, and supplies. Every Partner in Hope receives a monthly email from us and a thank-you gift.

Partners in Hope is open to everyone. You can choose one of three levels:

- Puppy Partner, $25 a month

- Training Champion, $50 a month

- Hero Supporter, $100 a month

To join, visit our donate page. Check the box that says “Show my support by making this a recurring donation,” then choose Monthly. Recurring gifts can’t be made through PayPal or Venmo, so please use a debit card, credit card, or bank account.

Thank you to Paws and Pints and BIG Roofing for including us, and to everyone who stopped by to learn more and support our work.
